Welcome to Valley
Recycling
New Hours for Valley
Recycling
Monday - Friday
7:30am - 5:30pm
Closed Saturday and
Sunday
To keep the area clean
and not blowing all over the neighborhood please drop over flow material at
Valley Recycling. We would like to keep doing this program around the city and
possible add more locations but the places that the bins are located would like
to see it kept a little cleaner.
Thank You
At Valley Recycling we are striving to recycle the most
materials
possible. We have
recycle drop bins at ten
locations around the valley, from Coram to Lakeside and Creston to
Kila. Our
customers are our business and serving them is our first
priority.
Congratulations Flathead Valley!
In 2005, Valley Recycling
with the help of Evergreen Disposal and the Flathead Valley reduced the amount of refuse going into the Flathead County
Solid Waste Facility (County Landfill) by a total of 5.8 million
pounds of
recycled goods. In 2006 that number increased to 7.5 Million
pounds of material. In 2007 we are up again. 8,175,207 total
pounds of material.
That would be enough compressed baled material to fill a
football field from end zone to end zone, side line to side
line, over the top of goal
posts and then some.

Our bailer runs 5 days a week, 11 hours per day, compressing
cardboard, paper, and plastics into compact shipping units.
Valley Recycling with the help of Evergreen Disposal and the
people of the Flathead Valley helped exceed the Projections for 2005
by 382 tons of material that would have been deposited at the
county landfill! In 2006 we raised that amount by 1.7 million
pounds of material. In 2007 we exceeded the projections of
2006 by 316 tons of material.
From the staff at Valley Recycling and Evergreen
Disposal we thank you.
We are always researching new materials that can be recycled so
that we can further decrease the volume of waste being deposited
in the County Landfill. If we all do our part, we can minimize our
impact
on the Flathead Valley.
Our Mission
Providing the Flathead Valley with the most recycling
opportunities
and the best service possible.
What we recycle

- Plastic - #1 We take all plastic that is labeled as #1 PETE

water and pop bottles are #1. The #1
plastics can be any color, including clear, as long as it is
marked with a #1. Most caps are not #1 so please remove
the caps when recycling.
